The ISO certification has enhanced the national and international competitiveness of Milk Plant, Ludhiana, which is the first Dairy Plant in the country to have got ISO-9002 certification. Recently Milk Plant Chandigarh and Milk Plant Mohali have received the ISO/HACCP certification as per IS/ISO 9002 and IS 15000, which are also first integrated certificate awarded by BIS. Federation is planning to get other Cooperative Sector Milk Plants registered under IS/ISO 9002 and IS 15000 in  a  phased manner.
